About Dolan

The Story Behind the Name: Dolan the shark is named after the Dolan family: Charles and Helen Dolan from Cove Neck, NY and their children, nineteen grandchildren and extended family of ocean enthusiasts. The Dolans have always shared a special affinity for the water and wanted to commemorate the holiday season by supporting marine conservation. They enjoy spending time together by the sea: sailing, swimming, SCUBA diving, fishing, painting, surfing and beach combing. They are proud to welcome a beautiful tiger shark to the family.
