About Hermosa

The Story Behind the Name: My name is Jack Dubow. I live in Wakefield, Massachusetts and I am 13-years-old. My uncle, Jack Haley, adopted a shark for me for Christmas. I would like to name the shark after my favorite place to visit, Hermosa Beach.

Adopt-a-Shark: For information on how you can contribute to our shark conservation research by adopting and tracking your own shark, please visit our Adopt a Shark page.
