Blog 13 – Meeting in the Bahamas

I got to go on a trip to the Bahamas for 10 days.  When I was there I told about shark research at a meeting with my Auntie Kelli and LOTS of people.  I got to ride on a golf cart to the meeting even.  I had my flyers and my map and I wore my shark shirt and shark shoes – I let my Auntie wear my shark visor too!  I answered all of the questions the people had and then I sat at a table and they gave me donations and told me where they were from.  Now, I have money from 28 states, even Hawaii and Texas, and even 3 more countries (Bosnia, Chile and Australia).

I saw lots of different sharks and marine life in the Bahamas too.  When my Dad and I went to a pottery class, where I made a dolphin plate (they didn’t have shark plates), I even saw a baby Hammerhead!

    Sophi,

I had so much fun with you that day when we went into those caves. I thought you got so lucky to see a hammerhead in there. It seemed to follow you as you walked.
